About Us
Marc Brooks (Owner)
Born in Philadelphia, Marc instinctively developed a passion for great adventure and protecting lives. Following his completion of high school, Marc started as a submarine driver for the US Navy Submarine Force and soon carried on earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After obtaining his RN license in 2005, Marc quickly progressed at Montefiore Medical Center, acquiring critical skills and caring for patients as an ER and ICU nurse. He ultimately opened a CPR business expanding to three locations serving areas in New Jersey and Staten Island. As a father of two children, Marc enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and traveling to different countries. To illustrate, he’s lived in Brighton, England for one year and Seville, Spain for nine months studying Spanish. Marc’s top movie selections include Good Fellas, Seven Years in Tibet, Casino, Tropic Thunder, and Forest Gump. His favorite literature consists of On The Road by Jack Kerouac, Devil in a blue Dress by Walter Mosley, and Martin Eden by Jack London.
Aisha Morse (Scheduling Coordinator)
In her balancing position, Aisha takes pride in having the ability to make a difference in her community. She is dedicated to assessing the needs of clients and connecting families with qualified caregivers. In addition to managing schedules, Aisha focuses on the onboarding and orientation of employees which allows her to grant opportunities to working-class individuals. Being a toddler mom, full-time student, and pet owner all contribute to her quick-thinking and multitasking skillset. She plans to continue her education and pursue a career in nursing. Aisha enjoys listening to music, watching how-to videos, cooking, and Zumba dancing. Some of her favorite books are The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, Waking up In Heaven by Crystal McVea, and Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis.
Laurie Joyner(Office Manager)
With a solid 17 years of nursing home experience under her belt, Laurie oversees operations and manages the Right at Home office. Laurie has a strong sense of duty and devotion towards helping others. Being a part of a population that respects, loves, and supports our seniors is what matters to her the most. In her time off, Laurie enjoys watching movies such as Pretty Woman, Dear John, and Shrek. If it’s a nice day, you can be sure to catch Laurie laying out on a beach, exercising, working in her garden, or spending quality time with her two daughters.
